Bangor Police Charge 13-Year-Old With Making Threats

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Bangor Police have made an arrest in connection with a threat directed at two area schools.

Police say they received a report of threats of violence towards two schools, which prompted a lockdown of all area schools as a precaution. They say the threats came from a fake social media account.

Police investigated and arrested a 13-year-old student who goes to school in the area. They were arrested and charged with terrorizing.

The school lockdowns were lifted juts before 10 AM.
