An investigation is underway after a body was found in the middle of a road in Bucksport on Tuesday.

According to WVII, Bucksport police said the body was found on Hinks St. just before 4 a.m. by someone who was headed to work.

Polcie said the cause and manner of death would be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police said the man was in his 50s, but his name was not immediately released.
