Body of missing snowmobiler from Connecticut found in Maine

The body of a missing snowmobiler was found Wednesday.

The Maine Warden Service says 43-year-old Stephen Rogers of Milford, Connecticut died after crashing into several trees along the Rangeley Lake shoreline Saturday night.

Game wardens say Rogers was using a loaner snowmobile while his was being repaired at Oquossic Marine.

He was reported missing by the owner of the store after he didn’t return to pick up his snowmobile on Tuesday.

The warden service says it appears that speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
