Bomb threats targeting multiple Maine Walgreens locations deemed not credible

Bomb threats were called in to multiple Walgreens stores in Maine on Thursday.

Portland police said a bomb threat was phoned in to the store manager at the Walgreens on Marginal Way around 11 a.m. Thursday.

In Windham, police reported a bomb threat called in to the Walgreens on Roosevelt Trail about half an hour later. The store was evacuated but reopened just before 1 p.m.

In both cases, the stores were searched but no explosive devices were found. The threats were deemed not credible.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
