Bowdoinham Woman Dies After Being Injured Monday

BOWDOINHAM, Maine (WGAN)  State Police continue to investigate the death of Beulah “Marie” Sylvester inside her home in Bowdoinham yesterday.

State Police say the Bowdoinham woman was seriously injured inside her home Monday and died overnight at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Sagadahoc Deputies responded to the 55-year-old’s mobile home at 946 Post Road Monday morning and found her unresponsive. Sylvester was first taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick and then transferred to Maine Medical, where she died late last night.

 

The autopsy began today by the State Medical Examiner’s Office and additional work remains to be completed before final conclusions are reached.

Detectives and Evidence Techs spent the day inside her mobile home on the Post Road and evidence gathered will be analyzed at the State Police Crime Lab in Augusta.

Detectives say there is no danger to the public.
