The body of an Oxford County woman who died in a crash has been located by police, one day after she was reported missing by her husband.

Elizabeth Dempsey, 52, of Brownfield was reported missing Sunday after she left to run some errands and didn’t return.

According to media reports, deputies searched roads she frequently used and came across a crash scene Monday night on Center Conway Road.

They said her car was found on its roof in Paine Brook.

Investigators believe she lost control of the vehicle on black ice, and it went off the road and struck a rock before rolling into the brook.
