A pause on new housing developments in Brunswick has been extended.

A 180-day new housing moratorium was put in place in June as the town reexamines its housing policies amid an affordable housing crisis.

According to CBS 13, the city council voted last week to extend the moratorium.

They will hold a public hearing next month to decide whether the extension will last six full months like the original moratorium.
