Buckfield homeowner charged after mobile home goes up in flames

A homeowner has been charged after fire destroyed a mobile home in Buckfield over the weekend.

The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office says fire crews and investigators responded to the fire at the home on Depot Street around 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. There were no injuries.

46-year-old Clay Jacobs was taken into custody and charged with arson. He was brought to the Oxford County Jail.
