TOPSHAM, Maine (WGAN) A Maine high school principal says there is concern among school officials after bullets were found inside the school.

Mount Ararat High School principal Donna Brunette said the school was working with the school resource officer to try to find out where the bullets came from. She said they were smaller caliber, not the kind of ammunition used with an assault weapon.

Brunette said they were conducting interviews, reviewing attendance records and security camera footage as part of the investigation, but so far the issue remains unresolved.
