A 56-year-old Camden man faces felony child pornography charges.

Maine State Police say they arrested Thomas Karod on Thursday after an investigation conducted with the help of the Damariscotta and Camden police departments.

Karod is accused of possessing sexually explicit images of children under the age of 16.

Karod’s bail was set at $500 cash with conditions not to use the internet or have contact with children under the age of 18.

State Police say a judge issued an arrest warrant for Karod after their investigation.
