Camp in Jay Wrecked by Fire

A hunting camp in Jay was destroyed by fire Friday night.

The Portland Press Herald reports the camp off Morse Hill Road was owned by a Vermont man. Two ATVs were also wrecked in the fire.

About 20 firefighters from Jay, Wilton, Livermore Falls and East Dixfield responded to the fire Friday night. They were called back to the scene early Saturday morning after the blaze rekindled.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
