Car crash in Naples results in life-threatening injuries

A driver and a passenger are being treated for serious injuries after crashing into a tree late Friday night in Naples near the the intersection of Kansas Rd. and Roosevelt Trail.

The driver, Jordan Scarpa, 20 of Raymond, was seriously injured and transferred to Central Maine Medical Center via helicopter.

The passenger in the vehicle, Hunter Anthony-Norman Jordan, 20 of Gray, suffered life-threatening injuries and was extricated from the vehicle by Naples Fire Department.

He was also transferred to CMMC via helicopter.

According to our info partners at CBS 13, speed was the main factor in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
