The agency that runs the Brunswick Executive Airport is taking more steps after a dangerous toxic foam spill in August.

The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority is requesting federal and state money to replace the toxic foam and is forming a plan to remove the existing foam in its hangars.

It’s also searching for a new executive director after Kristine Logan stepped down earlier this month.

The agency announced its plans at a meeting Thursday.
