Presque Isle, Maine (WGAN) A Maine school district canceled school Thursday morning due to a threat sent over email.

MSAD #1, which covers Presque Isle and surrounding towns, said Thursday that all schools in the district closed at 9:30 a.m. They said law enforcement was notified about the threat, which was sent to the high school principal.

After school activities were also called off. No further details about the threat have been released.
