Commercial wrecker falls into ocean while trying to make delivery

HARPSWELL, Maine (WGAN) Police in Cumberland County say a commercial wrecker went into the ocean on Wednesday.

Police say they responded to the incident on Hills Way off Harpswell Islands Road in Harpswell around 9:45 Wednesday morning. The wrecker was in the process of delivering a dock system to the waterfront property when the ground gave way, sending it into the water.

The wrecker was pulled out of the water and no one was injured.
