Portland based band Ghost of Paul Revere is thanking the community for coming to their aid in a time of need.

Members of the band were out on tour on the west coast when someone cut the trailer off their van. They had all of their equipment, merchandise and other items they need to do their jobs, stolen.

After a police report failed to find the culprit they started a go-fund-me page.

Their goal of $20,000 was reached within 11 hours. The donations are now up to around $30,000.

The band called the communities support, “humbling, heartwarming and incredible.”
