Council members confirm appointment of Danielle West as Portland City Manager

The Portland City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Danielle West as city manager Monday.

West has served as interim city manager since Nov. 2021.

She was given that title following the departure of city manager Jon Jennings, who left for a similar job in Clearwater, Florida.

West becomes the first woman to serve as city manager of Portland.
