A Limerick man was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in North Waterboro Friday morning.

York County Sheriff William King says police responded to the area of 1068 Sokolis Trail around 10:30 a.m. Friday for a report of a two-vehicle crash. 35-year-old Joshua Gochie was behind the wheel heading southbound when he crossed the centerline. He struck another vehicle being driven by 38-year-old Alex Martin, also of Limerick.

Gochie was killed in the crash. Martin was taken to Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
