Police said one person was hurt after a crash involving three FedEx trucks and a car near the border of Lyman and Alfred.

The crash happened Tuesday around 10:30 a.m. on Route 111, or Biddeford Road.

Maine State Police say one of the trucks crashed into a tree. Maine Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said the vehicles collided due to traffic slowing down and vehicles following too closely.

The driver of one of the trucks was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Moss said leaves near the tree that was hit caught fire but were quickly extinguished.
