Police locate Damariscotta man with dementia

UPDATE: Police say Slicer has been found safe. 

Police in Damariscotta are asking for the public’s help finding an 88-year-old man with dementia.

Police say Ronald Slicer was in the Damariscotta area around noon on Wednesday. He’s been known to stray from home and get lost.

He’s white, 5’11, weighing 180 pounds with hazel eyes and gray hair.

Police say he’s driving a white 2018 Chevy Trax with Maine license plate 1856XU.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Damariscotta Police.
