Police say the death of a person in Lewiston Wednesday night is being investigated as a homicide.

Police responded to a home on River St., but few details about the death were immediately released by police.

According to CBS 13, Lewiston police Lt. Derrick St. Laurent says Maine State Police are assisting with the investigation.
