DENMARK, Maine (AP) — A teenager was killed when the car he was driving skidded and crashed into a tree alongside the road in the town of Denmark, Maine State Police said.

The impact was on the driver’s side and Isaac Rawson, 17, of Sebago, died at the scene Tuesday afternoon, troopers said.

Speed and driver inexperience are likely causes of the crash, troopers said. Rawson was alone at the time of the crash.
