Divers recover body of York woman in Maine lake

Maine State Police and a Maine Marine Patrol dive team recovered the body of a York woman who fell in a lake after the boat she was on capsized.

The Maine Warden Service said Tuesday the body of 31-year-old Caitlin Guinta was recovered in Flagstaff Lake, which is located in Somerset and Franklin Counties near Dead River Township. Divers found her body around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Guinta was with two others when their canoe capsized around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Warden Service says rough lake conditions and heavy wind caused the boat to capsize.
