(AP) A driver allegedly fell asleep before striking three pedestrians, all of whom died, including a one-year-old girl.

According to CBS 13, a police report indicates Robert Santerre of Chelsea dozed off before his car crossed the center line and struck the three individuals last week in Augusta.

The adult victims of the crash on Cony Rd. were identified as 69-year-old Barbara Maxim-Hendsbee and 62-year-old Rosalyn Jean, both of Augusta. The one-year-old baby girl was Maxim-Hendsbee’s granddaughter.
