Drivers on I-295 faced delays on Saturday after accident

Traffic was backed up headed north on I-295 starting at the Falmouth Spur exit 11 all the way to Tuttle Road overpass in Cumberland on Saturday afternoon.  A spokesperson from the Maine State Police Told the Portland Press Herald the accident involved a piece of construction equipment that may have struck the Tuttle Road overpass.  The Maine Department of Transportation has crews on the way to inspect the bridge.  There were no injuries.
