A Porter woman is in custody following a months-long investigation by Maine drug agents.

Maine State Police said Thursday that 30-year-old Jill McDevitt was arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking. She was arrested following a traffic stop and a search of her vehicle on Route 25 in Standish on Wednesday. She was arrested without incident. Methamphetamine and suspected drug proceeds were seized from her vehicle.

State police and drug agents also searched a storage unit in York that McDevitt rented, as well as her home. Drugs were found at both locations. All told, agents seized about $60,000 worth of drugs from McDevitt.

She’s being held at York County Jail with bail set at $100,000 cash, and she’s set to make her first court appearance in Alfred on Friday afternoon.

Police say the case is still active and more charges are expected.
