Drug bust in Pittsfield results in two arrests

PITTSFIELD, Maine (WGAN) Police arrested two people after a drug bust in Pittsfield on Tuesday.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, police found heroin, pills, and suboxone strips inside a Pittsfield home in the Carriage Estates Mobile Home Park around 1 p.m. The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office says deputies also found digital scales, over $6,000 in cash, paraphernalia and “drug transaction documentation.”

The heroin has an estimated street value of $13,000.

52-year-old Peter Bragg was arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking. 49-year-old Angela Orcutt was charged with drug possession.

Bragg, who has a prior drug conviction, is being held at Somerset County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.

Police said more charges are possible.
