Ducklings Rescued by Portland Police


PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN)  Portland Police say they rescued a dozen ducklings from a sewer Friday.

Police posted on their Facebook page that the ducklings were found in a sewer grate on Cumberland Avenue.  Police say the mother duck was nowhere to be found.

An Animal Control Officer took the birds to the Avian Haven bird rehabilitation center.
