Eggs sold from Maine farm recalled after salmonella outbreak

Eggs from a Maine farm have been recalled over concerns about salmonella.

The Maine CDC says it has identified eggs from Rainbow Farm as the source of a recent salmonella outbreak. Health officials said at least five people got sick after eating eggs from the farm.

The eggs were distributed at the farm itself, as well as farmer’s markets in Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Northeast Harbor, Stonington, and at FarmDrop.

Production and distribution have been halted as the CDC works with the farm to address the problem.
