Portsmouth, New Hampshire Police say they’re still investigating a crash that killed a 70-year-old Eliot man last weekend,

Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Lafayette Road and Mirona Road around 4:09 p.m. Saturday

Investigators say a Dodge 1500 pickup truck driven by Judd Reed hit the back of a Toyota Camry in the northbound lane of Lafayette Road.

Reed suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the sedan suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, but police say it does not appear that reckless driving or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Portsmouth Detective T.J. Potter at (603) 610-7642.
