2 dead in fire in home in Ellsworth, Maine, officials say

ELLSWORTH, Maine (AP) Officials say two people were found dead in Ellsworth, Maine, after a fire swept through a home.

The fire killed 67-year-old Bruce Wallace and 58-year-old Linda Tarvis on Tuesday. Firefighters arrived to find the mobile home on U.S. Route 1 fully was engulfed.

The bodies of Wallace and Tarvis were later discovered inside. Investigators from the state fire marshal’s office are seeking the cause of the blaze.
