Emmy Award Goes to Lewiston High Graduate

A former Maine high school student is now an Emmy Award winner.

The Portland Press Herald reports Joshua Church was awarded over the weekend at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. He was the supervising producer on ‘The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling,’ a two-part film on HBO which won for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special.

Church graduated from Lewiston High School in 1996.
