A 20-year-old is facing charges after police say he burglarized a Fairfield high school.

According to the Morning Sentinel, police arrested Caleb Ferreira, who’s charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief for allegedly burglarizing Lawrence High School on Monday morning.

Investigators identified Ferreira as the suspect after reviewing surveillance footage. Police say he gained entry to the building by using a chair to smash a window.

Fairfield Officer Casey Dugas said Ferreira stole personal items belonging to students, which they believe have all been recovered.

Ferreira made bail and is expected to appear in court in December.
