Former Maine U.S. Representative Bruce Poliquin will not run for Congress in 2020.
Poliquin posted on Facebook Sunday that family priorities are preventing him from entering the race.
According to our info partners at CBS 13 News, Poliquin’s decision not to challenge Democrat U.S. Representative Jared Golden, of Lewiston, means former state Senator Eric Brakey, of Auburn, is the only Republican in the race at this point.
