Fatal Fire in Somerville is under investigation

SOMERVILLE  – A 72-year-old man is believed dead following a fire in his home in Somerville Saturday morning.  Hunters were in the area of 471 Crummett Mountain Road when they saw smoke coming from the residence and called the fire department.  The fire marshal found the human remains during their investigation.  The office of the chief medical examiner will be working with the OCME to positively identify the remains and the fire marshal’s office is continuing the investigation into the cause.
