SANFORD, Maine (WGAN) A man who the FBI considered armed and dangerous has been arrested.

The FBI’s Southern Maine Gang Task Force say they took 26-year-old Joshua Weldon into custody around 3 PM Friday in Sanford. He was wanted on a charge of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.

He was released last month on bail, and was ordered to go to a sober house but never did. He also never showed up in court.

He was spotted by police in Sanford last week but managed to get away.

The FBI was offering a $5,000 reward leading to his location and arrest.
