A woman was injured in a fire at a warming center in Lewiston.

Lewiston police say the fire broke out at the building on Lincoln Street Tuesday afternoon while several people were inside.

Everyone got out but one woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The warming center is run by Kaydenz Kitchen at the former Schemengee’s Bar and Grille, which was one of two businesses targeted in the 2023 Lewiston mass shooting that claimed 18 lives.
