Fire investigators say fire at vacant Ellsworth home was intentional

Fire investigators say a fire at a vacant home in Ellsworth was arson.

The Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire on Water Street broke out Wednesday evening, causing only minor damage.

Investigators say the fire was incendiary.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage that may be relevant to the investigation is asked to contact the Fire Marshal’s Office or Ellsworth police.
