Slick driving conditions are expected in parts of Maine due to snow Tuesday.

The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that will be in effect until 10 p.m. Tuesday.

At the request of Maine State Police, speeds on the turnpike were reduced to 45 mph from Kittery to Falmouth, the Maine Turnpike Authority said in an email sent out just after 10 a.m.

The weather won’t affect local school districts Tuesday, as it’s February vacation week. However, some businesses may decide to close their doors early and parking bans are possible (click here for a list of closings and cancellations).
