YORK, Maine (WGAN) Troopers arrested four people in another drug bust involving a group of New Yorkers on the Maine Turnpike.

Police say the arrests were related to the investigation of drug sales out of a home on Main Street in West Paris. Troopers stopped the vehicle on the Turnpike in York on Wednesday evening. They seized 382 grams of crack cocaine.

Police arrested 35-year-old Yashim “Scotty” Gomez; 26-year-old Raymond “T” Vasquez; 31-year-old Geraldine “GiGi” Rodriguez; and 19-year-old Princes Munoz-Cordero, all from Bronx, New York. Bail was set at $20,000 for Gomez and $10,000 for the other three.

Investigators say the group has been helping to import and sell drugs from Oxford Hills to the Rumford area as well as southern Franklin County.

On Tuesday, troopers arrested two New York men and a Bangor woman after their vehicle was stopped on the turnpike in Kennebunk. Seized were cocaine and heroin, headed for Bangor.
