CASCO, Maine (WGAN) Affidavits show four men charged with forcing another man to strip naked and then shooting at him did so to recover a drug debt.

It happened on Tenny Hill Road in Casco around 1:30 Monday morning. According to the Portland Press Herald, police say the victim, 39-year-old Nathan Croteau of Naples, says he was taken at gunpoint from his home, put into the trunk of a car, then driven to an area near where he was located where he was told to strip naked. He was then told to run away while two men shot at him.

Police located the vehicle and arrested 22-year-old Ajoung M. Malual of Westbrook, 23-year-old Mahdi B. Ali of Boston, 20-year-old Noh Y. Okubazghi of Boston, and 22-year-old Samson S. Samsom of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Police say only Malual and Ali are charged in the actual shooting.

An affidavit shows Croteau said he owed the men about $200 for drugs, but they only asked for $85.
