Four people were arrested in connection with fires at the site of the abandoned Elan School in Poland.

On Friday, the Maine Department of Public Safety said 18-year-old James Akers of Portland and 18-year-old Jacob Kaiser of Biddeford, along with two juveniles, were indicted on arson, burglary, and theft charges.

They’re accused of setting fires at multiple locations including the former school property and two properties in Yarmouth.

Akers and Kaiser were released on bail pending court appearances later this year.

The identities of the two juveniles haven’t been released, due to their ages.
