Gas Prices Inch Up Across Northern New England

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Leaf peepers heading home after the holiday weekend are seeing higher prices at the pump in northern New England.

The latest GasBuddy survey shows the average price of gas in Vermont is $2.90 per gallon, up 3 cents from last week. In New Hampshire, the price rose to $2.79 per gallon, and in Maine, the price rose to $2.87 per gallon.

The national average was $2.91 per gallon.
