Good Samaritans pull woman from burning vehicle in Bangor

BANGOR (WGME) — Police said two Good Samaritans pulled a woman from a burning vehicle in Bangor Thursday night.

It happened Burleigh Road near Essex Street around 8 p.m.

Police said a vehicle went off the road, struck some trees, and caught fire. Two passersby pulled the female driver to safety.

Police said she was taken to the hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.

The crash is under investigation.
