GORHAM, Maine (WGAN) Police say a 22-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Gorham Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say a motorcycle operated by Nolan Irish of Gorham collided with a Honda Civic at the intersection of Flaggy Meadow and Cressey Roads.

CBS 13 reports that Irish was pronounced dead at the scene, while the operator of the car, a 21-year Biddeford woman, was evaluated at the scene and not taken to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.

Police said they were hoping to speak to other drivers who may have witnessed the crash, including the operator of a white pickup truck that was in the area at the time of the collision.
