A $1 million Powerball prize goes to a Maine man.

The Maine Lottery says Peter Seavour bought the winning ticket at the Hannaford in Gray last month.

The state says he received $710,000 after federal and state withholding taxes. The grocery store also earned $20,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The state lottery also says 37 players won $10,000 or more in January, totaling over $3 million in winnings.
