KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine (WGAN) Kennebunkport Police say a great white shark was spotted in the water off Goose Rocks Beach.
In a Facebook post, police said a reliable source confirmed the sighting about a mile out from the beach around 11 a.m. Thursday. Police took the opportunity to remind beach-goers to be informed and maintain awareness while in and around the water.
Police ask anyone who sees anything unusual to let them know.
