An 18-year-old Hampden man accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a Bangor apartment building has been charged with arson and attempted murder.

It happened on Jan. 13 at an apartment building on French Street, according to our news partners, CBS 13.

On Wednesday, police arrested 18-year-old Sunil Jones in connection with the incident.

The molotov cocktails were thrown at a window, which didn’t break when it was hit by the bottles. Police say the outside of the window casing suffered fire damage.

Sunil was being held Friday morning at the Penobscot County Jail.
