Hancock County man arrested following incident in Otis

A man was taken into custody after an incident involving police crisis negotiators in Otis on Thursday.

Maine State Police said officers responded to a home off Route 9 in Otis around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a car crash.

A police tactical team and crisis negotiation team were at the scene.

According to WABI-TV, police arrested 28-year-old Randy Spencer Jr. of Otis around 6 a.m. Friday without incident.

He was arrested on multiples felony warrants and taken to Hancock County Jail.

No details about the incident were immediately available.
