Head-on crash in Turner leaves one dead, two injured

One woman was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on crash in Turner.

According to the Sun Journal, the two-vehicle crash happened Sunday morning on Auburn Road near the Paris Farmers Union.

Sheriff Eric Samson says the female driver of one of the vehicles died from her injuries. The male driver and female passenger in the second vehicle were ejected. They were both taken to the hospital.

The names and conditions of those involved were not immediately available.

Traffic in the area was shut down until about 3:15 p.m. Sunday.
